Have you had a good week? The Little Things is all about the little things that have made my week. Looking for the positive in the every day can really help when you want to be more positive and/or have mental health issues or want to focus more on the positive in life. Here are some of the little things from my week that has made my week.
Sian Shrimpton’s Encouraging Postcards
I ordered the four pack of Sian’s encouragement cards and they look just as good in person as they do online and I can’t wait to find our own place so I can add one or two of them to my work area. You can find them in Sian’s Etsy store here.
Working + Reading in the in-laws Garden
The weather has been fabulous during the week and I felt very privileged to be able to work and read in their garden and soak up the sun. Especially as I often dip and end up Vitamin D deficient so I’m hoping I soaked up enough rays to balance me out.
Eating Ice-Cream at the Pub
There’s a pub just down the road from my in-laws and after work I’ve been joining them. As I no longer drink alcohol and there’s only so many J2O’s I can handle (lots of sugar) I’ve had a few scoops of their salted caramel ice-cream and it’s been so nice and a lovely change. Especially as for me ice-cream isn’t something I’d normally eat.
Sunday Walk Around Walton Gardens
There was a market at Walton Gardens and I popped along with my in-laws while my husband was working on the Sunday. It was a really small but nice market and we picked up some strawberry and lime chilli jam from Goch and Company which is amazing on crackers and cream cheese. Afterwards, we walked around the gardens and I took lots of pictures of the gardens.
