I’ve been on Prostrap for five months now and have found since October my morning routine has changed thankfully for the better.
I still don’t sleep well and tend to wake up at least twice during the night but now I think it’s 80% due to it always happening. The other 10% tends to involve some kind of pain or discomfort.
I have my alarm set for 8:30am but since the clocks changed I’ve managed to wake up naturally before my alarm goes off most mornings.
I change into my loungewear and grab my iPhone and Evie’s nugget bowls.
I spend the first 30 minutes on the toilet with pains and cramping which I just can’t get to the bottom of.
I check personal email and bloglovin and sometimes Instagram and text my BFF to see how she is as she has a chronic illness too!
Then I wash my face, brush my teeth and head downstairs.
I boil the kettle for a hot water bottle and make up a cup of peppermint tea. I give Evie some hay and what’s left of her nuggets.
I then check my business emails and wash up some pots and quickly tidy the kitchen.
I sit down on the sofa, hot water bottle on my stomach which is currently where I’ve got my little home office set up with my husbands iMac because my laptop is currently under repairs although it’s taking much longer than originally promised!
I load up Wallace and Gromit: Loaf and Death, drink my tea, reply to work emails and add new tasks to my todo list and calendar for the day and week. Then get to work.
By 11am I feel a bit more human and better so I make another peppermint tea and eat either a strawberry or apple multigrain or a chocolate chip brioche and carry on with work.
Pretty easy and relaxed morning routine that eases me into my day and lets me deal with my health first and any possible pain I might have.
