May Favourites

May favourites
It’s been nearly a year since I last did a favourites post {here!} As May was a really good month for me I thought I’d share what I loved during it.

Fantasy in Death was my best book of the month. I’m pretty addicted to this series especially as every now and again one book will just be amazing while the rest of the series is really good.

I adore herbel essences conditioner but I especially love their new one, moroccan my shine. Since moving my normal slightly knotty hair has become a serious tangley mess and this works the best to unknot my hair.
While there’s a picture of the garnier olia conditioner it’s actually to represent their hair dye. It is totally amazing. It’s ammonia free, gives great coverage {gotta cover those greys!} and has a great range of colours. I’ve tried two different colours in the past three months and they’re just the best.

Since February moleskine colour notebooks & bullet journalling have been top of my list, I finished my first one at the very end of May! When it normally takes me a year to fill a notebook. I’m now using a white one and enjoying it just as much.

Since moving my skin has been so dry and sore so I’ve been using Soap & Glory’s Ultimelt, a sample of Lush’s Let The Good Times Roll {which lasted two full months and will be buying a full tub when it runs out} and The Body Shop’s Vitamin E sink in moisture mask. Which has put my skin back to rights.
The Body Shop’s almond shower gel was a gift from Kelly, I love the smell but I like the way it makes my skin feel. Will be buying a replacement bottle soon.
For most of April and May my lips cracked which was extremely painful so I basically had my lips covered in Nivea’s lip butter originalbecause of my sore lips I haven’t been wearing much makeup but I did wear Rimmel’s apocalips in big bang when I wanted to make more of an effort as it’s not drying.
Non-favourites of May
Finally I have two non-favourites and ironically they are both garnier products, which is strange because I usually really like garnier products. Garnier Ultimate Blends in the silky smoother shampoo which has made made my hair so greasy! To start with I loved it but the more I used it the more frequently I felt I needed to wash my hair. So now I might use it once a week and see how that goes and the garnier micellar cleansing water just made my skin break out in lots of little white bumps on my face. Which has never happened before and am sad that the micellar water is doing that but I might just use it to remove my eye makeup. Whenever I decided to wear some!

Let me know your favourites!
